Day 1: Arrival – Bagdogra Airport → Phuentsholing

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport. Drive to Phuentsholing, Bhutan’s gateway town on the Indo-Bhutan border.

Day 2: Phuentsholing → Thimphu

Proceed to Thimphu, the only capital city in the world without traffic lights.

Scenic Himalayan drive through lush valleys and river gorges.

Day 3: Thimphu – Capital City & Culture

Explore Bhutan’s cultural heart:

  • Folk Heritage Museum

Day 4: Thimphu → Dochula Pass → Punakha

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100 m), offering panoramic Himalayan views and the famous 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.

  • Punakha Dzong – Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress

Optional white-water rafting on the Mo Chhu River.

Return to Paro.
